Real Steel.
Marketed as a feel-good movie of the year, Real Steel is a surprisingly good movie because just when i think the cliche is unevitable, Director Shawn Levy and Actor Hugh Jackman deliver one of the very good science fiction movie with loads of actions and hearts. Three and a Quarter stars out of Four (B+)
Johnny English Reborn.
As predictable as i might expect but it does have some laughing moments no matter how ridiculous it is, you get to give some credit to Rowan Atkinson who is still stupidly funny in his arrested development character. Two and a half stars out of Four(C+)
The Sorcerers and The White Snake
The movie is an insult to the original source. The filmmakers manage to turn what supposed to be a timeless classic into one dimensional chick flick tear jerker. Boo for everyone involved in the production of this movie with the exception of the cinematographer responsible for a scene of beautiful mountains where the snakes live. One and a half stars out of Four (D)
In Time
Director Andrew Niccols again back with his experiment of story telling involving men and the universe of the strange. The idea was great but like any other Niccols films, it suffers from lack of interesting plot and story. At the middle of the film, you lost interest and simply wait until the end credit rolls. Two and a half stars out of Four (C+)
